3 Beat Records hits 18Influential Liverpool record shop 3 Beat, become one of clubland?s longest running brands in November when they reach their 18th year. To celebrate this fact, on Saturday November 10th, the 3 Beat team are putting on a very special party at the Carling Academy in Liverpool, that will reflect the history and legacy of the 3 Beat name. The party is called 'Back To The Old 'Pool' and flying to Liverpool to headline is the godfather of house, Marshall Jefferson with a PA from house legend, Ce Ce Rogers. Joining them will be a host of local DJ talent past and present including Steve Parry, Andy Carroll and Steve Proctor.
'Back To The Old 'Pool' will turn back the clock and let us hear the tunes that built the foundations of the global house music scene once again. White Savage to play Club NME LA tomorrow
White Savage are set to headline Club NME Los Angeles with Fred Perry Subculture tomorrow night (August 15).
The Chicago electro-funk band will be supported by Los Angeles new wave band Static Static.
Resident DJ Dia and surprise guest DJs will spin a mix of rock, electronica, punk and hip-hop before and after the sets.
Club NME with Fred Perry Subculture takes place at Spaceland in the Silver Lake neighbourhood of Los Angeles every Wednesday night.
Next Wednesday (August 22), Eskimo Joe and Versa Vice are set to headline Club NME LA with Fred Perry Subculture.
